RealFlow is a 3D fluid simulator created by the Madrid company (España) “Next Limits Technologies“. Its creators, Victor Gonzalez, Ignacio Vargas and Angel Tena were awarded a Technical Achievement Award 2007 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his work done with this realistic simulation based on particle.
This software can be considered one of the best in the world of its kind, and has been used in major motion pictures as The Lord of the Rings (wash simulation), Perfect Storm (Simulation of water) etc., as well as numerous commercials.
One of the main features is the ability to mix different fluids realistically. In the video accompanying the evolution of the product shown chronologically from version 4 with which excellent results are obtained.
