We have seen how open new scenes (add) from a file without leaving the current session.
We will now see how we can incorporate the elements of the new scenes which we. This allows multiple people to work on the same project, subsequently integrate editing objects in the same scene.
For the management of the scenes have to open a window “Outliner” in any of the views. This window displays a tree structure of the scene.
We can expand the tree to the scene represents symbolically, by clicking on the icon representing an arrowhead.
We will see that in addition to the symbols that represent cameras and lights, have different objects in the scene. Some icons representing “coordinate axis” allow us to select the objects you want to transfer from one scene to another.
If an object is “father” (parent) other, will see that represented additional axes. Will have a hierarchical structure for each axis containing the object.
If we transfer the entire object and its “offspring” or dependence, we activate. This will expand the tree and go selecting each. We must hold down “shift” (for case) and go clicking with the mouse on each of these axes (multiple).
The combination will press “Ctr L“, namely, the control key and then the key “L”, holding the mouse cursor over a 3D window, to open the pop-up menu that allows you to pass these items to a new scene.
It is important to emphasize that the cursor must be on the 3D, otherwise, we can not complete the transfer of the objects to the new scene.
Select the option “To Scene….”.
A new menu allows you to choose the scene “destination” for objects. This scene may be any that are available in our working session.
Objects may be a copy of those found in the previous stage, or just be a “link” or link to the original object. This depends on the way we have opened the file “Link” or “append”.
