Seville: Pigeons on the Triana Bridge [Photos]

PalomasOne of the iconic bridges of the city of Seville is the “Triana Bridge”, connecting the Triana district of Arenal.

This bridge across the river Guadalquivir has a structure formed by a set of rings on which sits a colony of pigeons, serving prime spot for watching the backbone of the city.

The Puente de Isabel II, popularly known as Triana Bridge, is a bridge located in Seville (Andalusia, España), linking the city center with the Triana district across the river Guadalquivir and which replaced in the nineteenth century an old pontoon bridge that was in place, constituting oldest iron bridge preserved in Spain.
