The motivating look a dog in the countryside is the inspiration for one of nis favorite oils.
Homer is left to paint while watching closely the movements of the impressionist brush in this work that has earned a space on my wall (few of my paintings come to this end resolvent)
Pastel colors that reflect his goodness, with a background that contrasts intensified its silhouette, all with thick strokes that make her locks in a table by the tight impulsive pose.
Oil painting is based on a substrate dispersed pigments (powdered) which are mixed with linseed oil which acts as a binder.

A few days ago I received a letter with a postcard inside.
Al abrir la carta pude ver la imagen que os muestro en esta fotografía.

@ Goloviarte, or nick name by which we know on Twitter to Gregorio López Vicente, sent me a beautiful card format work on a cardboard support coming later to take to framing deserves to dress like the back of my house; is a way to share with my views the work of this unique artist.
The painting was made with acrylics and I have to say that until I received the card, had a completely different picture of the expressive possibilities of this technique.
Jesus Maria Calzada Casati is a professor of “Graphic Expression” in the Department of Aerospace Vehicles (DVA) Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM).
PhD in Civil Engineering, Canals and Bridges, combines teaching and research, management as well as academic secretary of the department, with his passion for painting, showing great skill in the art of drawing with pastel (inter).

Plants, flowers and in general the nature lends itself to the “Portrait” When it manifests in our senses. The frozen image of a spring garden allows to provide primary colors without fear to stridency, pincelados in its purest state and among the side that bathe the canvas. Oil on canvas
