Proteins are macromolecules composed of linear chains of amino. The name comes from the word protein Greek πρώτα (“prota”), meaning “the first” or god Proteus , by the number of ways that can be taken. (Wikipedia)
Hemoglobin |
A few years ago enjoyed programming a molecular structures viewer.
This image is the first that I kept, a hemoglobin molecule represented by a string that runs peptide planes that make up its structure, to which has been added a new model partially based rendering polyhedral shapes.
An approximation of the geometry of Platonic solids to biological structures.
