We expanded the number of images to our wallpaper this Christmas 2012.

Here is a simple exercise with what we have seen to model in Blender tinsel, and the use of textures for environments (environments) with Cycles render.

Christmas balls and tinsel ribbons were made Glossy material.

This image presents a composition that is a variant of wallpaper “Christmas balls and tinsel night” which has changed the image of environment on the other with a snowy landscape.

A new year, hopefully, it is full of good intentions. If 2012 completes the cycle of the Mayan calendar, in 2013 we find ourselves in the first year of the new Long Count.

The work of my students on the creation of a couple of characters, in this case for Andy (mascota of Android) in their fifth birthday, son enfocados bajo prismas muy diferentes.

Hemos visto la forma de evolucionar sus rasgos o curvas para feminizar la figura, centrando el desarrollo en lo concreto o incluso el escenario.
Otro enfoque muy diferente lo encontramos en el trabajo de Nikolay Dragoev, que se ha centrado en el significado de la escena más que en los materiales o el diseño de la pareja. Una decisión personal de gran carga artística.

By playing with the models used for halloween pumpkins made with Blender, and three pumpkins, We have made this scene gathering the two models.

A strong contrast in terms of the models creates a complex atmosphere, between the dark and the ludicrous.

Lights and Shadows : Lamps [ Cycles ]

Lighting in Cycles is one of the aspects that differ with respect to the classical shading based on raytracing or raycast.

Point lights, contributing harsh shadows reducing the realism of the images, have given way to a model that approximates the actual light comportmiento a much more measured.

With the new model, Any object can be emissive and therefore act as a source of illumination in the scene.
