Sketchfab : ideal for 3D files

Do you want to add a 3D object can be manipulated in your blog? Would you like to share your models with the community? Youtube-as it allows us to watch videos and incorporate them into our spaces of communication, There are tools to share 3D content.
We have seen some repository of 3D models dedicated to the world of space exploration as the “Celestia Motherlode” NASA, You can download these models in some relevant formats.
Sketchfab is a platform to host and share our 3D models, which allows to visualize them embedded in our blog.

Dibujando líneas ocultas con Freestyle en Blender

Al representar objetos tridimensionales sobre una superficie bidimensional perdemos información sobre la profundidad del objeto.

Pasamos de tres a dos dimensiones mediante una proyección cónica o cilíndrica en la que, al ser opacos los objetos en general, dejamos de ver parte de los mismos ya que unas caras ocultan a otras.

Una técnica para representar las zonas ocultas del objeto consiste en dibujarlas con líneas de trazos; estas líneas se conocen con el nombre de líneas ocultas.

Slow Motion con Iphone

La visión del mundo a diferentes velocidades nos puede hacer entender muchas cosas, aportando una increíble belleza a escenas cotidianas en las que apenas reparamos.

La técnica que nos permite frenar el tiempo y apreciar con detalle cada movimiento se denomina “Slow Motion”, mientras que la que nos permite acelerar el tiempo es la conocida como “Time Lapse”.En ambos caso lo que hacemos es jugar con el número de fotogramas capturado y presentado por segundo.

Molecular Flipbook Toolkit

Las animaciones por ordenador se usan principalmente para crear películas o cortos de animación que sirven para entretenernos. También son una poderosa herramienta que dan soporte a la publicidad en general.

Una interesante iniciativa científica se apoya en herramientas gráficas de edición tridimensional, en particular en el motor de juegos de Blender, para desarrollar una metodología de simulación y comunicación de procesos biológicos a nivel molecular.
Molecular Flipbook es una nueva herramienta “opensource” desarrollada aprovechando software libre para dotar a los científicos y educadores de una herramienta específica de animación a partir de moléculas básicas: las proteinas. Estos objetos pueden obtenerse a partir de los bancos de proteinas existentes en la actualidad.

Evolucionando el Projection mapping : motion tracking

Como toda tecnología,the “Projection mapping” evoluciona añadiendo nuevos elementos que lo hacen cada vez más complejo y espectacular.

En esta ocasión vemos cómo se empieza a integrar junto a las técnicas de seguimiento denominadas “Motion tracking” para proyectar sobre un rostro las diferentes imágenes que podemos ver.

La transformación del rostro permitirá crear más adelante complejas escenografías sustituyendo en muchos casos al clásico maquillaje, añadiendo la inmediatez del cambio instantáneo de la apariencia.

All Alone in the Night – Time-lapse sequences of the Earth from the International Space Station

An interesting time-lapse made with images captured on the space station (ISS) which shows a planet dotted with lights in a night vision the same.
One of those jobs that can be seen over and over again and not lose interest.

The final sequences with the Northern Lights are beautiful.
